Gyps decoration
From year to year gyps decoration becomes more and more popular. And it is not a strange thing. On the one hand, decoration is able to make interior more “noble” creating atmosphere of cosiness and aristocracy, making it looks respectable and solid. On the other hand, they make it possible to create a unique interior of an ordinary one.
The most expressive among moulded decoration are pillars and blackets. There are plenty ways of their use. For instance, using pillars we can divide room space into separate functional zones making the standard apartment exquisite and original. We can install pillars in the corners of the room, that will make modern “rectangular” architecture softer and smoother.

Gyps is a natural material. They get it from gypsum stone, firstly they burn it using high temperature and then mill it getting a kind of “flour”. The higher temperature and the finest “flour” you give - the best gyps quality and hardness you will get. In comparison with artificial, synthetic elements gyps decoration has no shrinkage and does not exude fumes. Neither time nor temperature can influence their form, texture and colour. Gyps is easy to work with and to paint. We can install elements on ordinary putty (starting or finishing), joints are worked up with finishing putty (acryl-putz), polish with emery paper and paint. Technology is similar to working with gypsum plasterboard but it is easier and more simple.
One of the gyps advantages is that it is chemically neutral material. That allows to use different paints (on the basis of water, nitro-, etc.) with no risk to damage decoration. Elements can be painted in traditional white or any other colour, bronze or marble styled, with effects of gilding or patina. Such variety draws attention of those who looks for interesting decision in making their interior.
Sphere of gyps decoration is not measured with interior only. If you intend to use these elements on building fronts you should work them up with hydrophobic liquid on both sides, install them using glue for tiles, use the same glue for filling the joints and do the putting with finishing putty, polish, cover with prime coating and paint.
It is necessary to mention that decorations are empty inside that is why they can be used for hiding “not so attractive” pipes or other subject in inappropriate places. Capitals and column socle can be a circle or a semicircle which make perfect junction.
